Amazon.com's standard return policy will apply. Reader Reviews While I didn't watch much of the series recently shown on The Discovery Channel, I did purchase this set and enjoyed watching it. However, if I'd know this was just a DVD-R purchase I would have waited until September when the DVD will be released. Just like Paramount did with the Star Trek series, The Discovery Channel rushed this to market and upped the price. I could have produced a better DVD-R set with my recording devices (I use Roxio Suite 10 Deluxe Edition sold here at Amazon). I would have preferred that The Discovery Channel issue the complete package at least a little earlier than September, well at least while this series is fresh on our minds. By the way, this set is $69.95 while the DVD set will be released in September at around $36.95. Well, enjoy the Discovery Channel documentaries; however, at least for me I'll record them from TV are wait until they're on the 1/2 price sell. Planet Earth is the way this series should have been released as a good example of good work from our friends at The Discovery Channel. Planet Earth, by the way, has 5 discs and is $10 less than this set.
