Chaos predictably ensues as the hot-tempered Hanamichi applies himself to something for the first time in his life. <I>Slam Dunk</I> ran for more than 100 episodes, plus theatrical and TV movies in Japan; American viewers will enjoy Hanamichi's antics, although the outcome of the series is a foregone conclusion.
