Although his drive to kill is unflinching, he struggles to emulate normal emotions he doesn't feel, and to keep up his appearance as a caring, socially responsible human being. The episodes are enthralling -there's a lot more to the series than the gimmick of a serial killer who works for the police. I have friends waiting in line to borrow these DVDs.
