There's a line in the movie where Julian Sands says: <br />I think somethings burning. <br /> <br />Too bad it wasn't the script. How Julian Sands wound up in this terrible terrible movie is unbelievable. It's cliched. It's shallow. It's unbelievably badly written. There are moments when it was so bad i had to change the channel. <br /> <br />Fans of sands are better off watching a re-run of room with a view.

This is a dork of a movie...the chick was pretty hot though...About the only character that had some semblance of authenticity was the weird coach father...he had the ability to steal the scenes...his charachter was likable and at the same time somewhat frightening and definatly unpredictable...Jim Belushi was stupid in this film but than again i have always thought he was a idiot who always over acted his parts. I think one of the dumbest scenes occured when the Teacher quotes english poetry to that other hot babe...i think she was mexican judging by the typical Mexican calender poster image in her apartment doorway where the Aztec prince holds his dead Aztec princess...but it is worth watching just to see the two babes in the flick...
