Former cheerleader Carrie Culberson vanished in late August of 1996. The small village of Blanchester, Ohio, just outside of Cincinnati, was galvanized by her disappearance. Despite extensive efforts, Carrie was never found. Though her body was never recovered, her former boyfriend, Vincent Doan, was convicted of kidnapping and murdering Carrie in 1997. Doan claimed he had nothing to do with the disappearance and still believes that Carrie is alive. WHAT HAPPENED TO CARRIE CULBERSON reports that authorities say Doan ran with a tough crowd and had a record of abuse. Doan's father, half-brother, and even the police chief were accused of helping to cover up the crime. Blanchester remains divided as both Vincent's and Carrie's families continue to search for the truth--and for Carrie. Police and prosecutors, however, are convinced the right man is behind bars, and that Carrie is dead.
