This is a stirring production. No, Peter Jackson had nothing to do with this. It was not shot on location. No, I am not sure if the fish used in the feeding of the five thousand are technically correct. However, Bruce Marchiano's portrayal of Jesus is the most Christ-like I have ever viewed. His love for people, all people, is so clear. His grief when he rebukes the Pharisses and Sadduces is moving.
This is truly a visual Bible. It is verse for verse correct, with a chapter and verse counter on the bottom of the screen. You can follow along with your NIV.
I would highly recommend this to anyone. Use it like you would your Bible. Pray first, hit "Play" and let God do the rest.
