Three chapters of revelation on the ways the powers that be gain their goal of total control over us, the people. Three great frauds. 1. Religion, The draping of Jesus' message in pagan trappings, to twist it into a tool for the mental decapitation of the masses. 2. Fear is Our Fuhrer. Video highlights of the 9/11 fake terror conspiracy demolished. 3. Money. How the banksters have fed fat on wars and panics to engineer the rise and fall of empires, as well as mere markets. Zeitgeist is the spirit of the times: we the people are on to them. They know that we know. Now let them be afraid.
Reader Reviews
I'm not a Conspiracy Theorist, nor am I an expert in any field whatsoever. However, allow me to put forward an idea or two regarding critical thought. First, given that so many reviews here are pleading with me to open my eyes and see the truth, the first question that comes to mind is, What truth? Truth must be justifiable to be regarded as truth. Half of the interviews in this film failed to mention who was speaking. The other half failed to mention why we should listen to anything they had to say. Any work that gets so muddy on its sources should be immediately regarded with suspicion. Second, consider the atmosphere the film seeks to establish. Far from scholarly, it's meant to tug at your emotions. Sure, that's what docs do, right? But this is overkill. The swirling colors, the soundtrack, the drawn-out sequences, the apparently random segments--it will nearly lull you into a dream-state. You'll be sensing, you'll be feeling, but you certainly won't be thinking, at least not all that hard. Mostly importantly, however, given the amount of propaganda we're force-fed on a daily basis, you'd think we'd be better at detecting it. Here's some advice to those who've been sucked in by this film: Anyone who would attempt to sum up something as complex and long-standing as Christianity through a Cartoon Short is definitely feeding you a not-so-wholesome mix of half-truths, glaring omissions, and outright lies. Ironic, since physicist Steven Jones would be a Christian (Mormon) given that he was under the employ of BYU--an LDS-Church owned school--and participated in research to (hopefully but unfruitfully) validate certain Book of Mormon claims. And of course, everyone knows that Martin Luther King Jr. was a Christian, and Ghandhi had deeply held beliefs in God. The doc is self-contradictory given that these religiously-motivated people did not renounce their faith when they "got off the ride." Far from it, they saw their faith as a crucial guiding light in their quest. Sure, Christianity has been used as a means of social control. This is what happens to institutions that become powerful/influencial--the forces of greed and self-interest will try to co-opt them. The rise of post-Council-of Nicea-Constantinian-Christianity would have been a good place to start, but the Bible itself is a book that exposes and decries the tactics used by fear-mongers and power-mongers. For example, according to the Bible: Socio-economic inequality = bad an abundance of unearned wealth = bad fear = bad division/alienation<--(Remember what the film had to say about that) = bad Consumerism (ie, worldliness) = bad Abuses of Power = bad The whole theme of the Old (remember the widow and the fatherless) and New (love thy neighbor as thyself) Testaments is attaining unity and equality through love. The Hell Jesus frequently warns (not threatens) about is a hell of one's own making--one where he or she is eternally cut off from love and truth due to his or her own choices, ...choices for which they continue to remain unrepentent (Jesus forgives all who repent). Not to mention they probably lifted the whole thing about RFID chips out of the Book of Revelation (666 = the Number of the Beast...allegiance to said number required for the purpose of conducting commercial transactions...sealed into the forehead and hand of every individual...aka, worthless paper that you hold in your hand, given monetary value through manipulation of the mind by powerful elites...could also apply to a credit/debit card...or yes, even a chip). Very contradictory indeed: They start out with an unprovoked assault against Christianity, then end by asserting that the solution is to let love overcome fear...ironically the very message of the Bible! How stupid can you get? Still gets three stars for presenting an emotionally compelling counter-perspective on the forces that threaten our very humanity. Loses two stars for its lack of scholarly rigor and its big "Christians, GO HOME!" attitude against those who would be fully capable of joining hands with all the others who desired to move forward with love and truthfulness.
