Drawing on footage from four concerts at London's Royal Festival Hall (one from June 2001 three from January 2002) this footage features David Gilmour performing material that spans his entire career. Beginning with Pink Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" we subsequently find Gilmour interpreting two Syd Barrett songs ("Terrapin" and "Dominoes") a performance from Bizet's opera "The Pearl Fishers" a few more Floyd tunes and a selection of solo Gilmour delights. Rick Wright Robert Wyatt and Bob Geldof make surprise appearances and the whole performance is cemented by a stunning gospel choir lead by Sam Brown.Format: DVD Genre: MUSIC DVD/CONCERTS UPC: 724349296091 Manufacturer No: 92960

I'm a huge Gilmour fan and was really looking forward to watching this DVD. I was hugely disappointed to see that the majority of the songs were done with his acoustic guitar. This made for a much slower paced concert than I'd have liked. 20 minutes into I was bored to tears and FFW to the end song. What in the world has happened to Bob Geldof?? Good lord, he looked like he had just come down from 20 years in the mountains of West Virginia...
