Reader Reviews This was recorded in March 1994, and its the earliest Eddie Izzard stand-up concert you can buy. However, Eddie is already a fully formed comic genius, in this his first released stage show. Hilarious, frequently surreal (but still funny) this is a show to watch to cheer yourself up: The Cat is behind the Sofa drilling. Owner comes round to look, Cat stops drilling. Owner - "Were you drilling Cat?" Cat - "Why would I be drilling I'm a Cat - no thats purring you're thinking of" Owner walks away, Cat puts goggles back on and carries on drilling. The original Star Trek series is given a good workout by Izzard, ending the show with a series of unusal settings for phasers, a few of which are: 'Bit of a cough', 'Ice Cream Van arrives', and finally 'left the gas on'. Perhaps not quite as good as Dress To Kill or Glorious, but its close and if you like those I guarantee you will like this.
