Reader Reviews This is a good video, he suggests you play extremely tight and the starting hands chart that comes with it pretty much says dont play anything less then AA, AK, KK, KQ, QQ, JJ, or pocket pairs. As a poker student, I believe that he is just giving you a solid place to start, and the follow up dvd to this one will have info on playing hands other then the ones mentioned above. I think this is a great video if you are a beginner, and decent if you consider yourself lower to mid intermediate level. I think the lesson learned for me was to not play junk hands, which isnt a lot, but there was enough info on WHY NOT to make it worth the time and money. I have the follow up to this dvd, (MORE secrets of no limit hold 'em) ordered and I will review that one in the next week or so. Since your out shopping for dvds on holdem, I would say you wouldnt be wasting your money unless you know all about starting hands and position.
