Reader Reviews As an elementary school teacher, mother of a five year old and Muppet fan, I was very disappointed in this movie. "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas" is not appropriate for children. The references to sex, alcohol abuse and strip clubs may be amusing to some adults, but those topics, (even when explored by the well-loved Henson creations), are not appropriate for kids. Jim Henson didn't have to sink to tawdry jokes to delight his audiences. His creativity and silliness were what made his characters funny and loveable for all ages. Do your child a favor and skip this movie.
