I did not much care for its insinuation that Christians are evil or violent. There was much to take issue with; however, the claim that Jesus was a real flesh-and-blood person who walked this earth is laid bare and ridiculed with much force. If you believe that Christ's life represented truth, justice or the path to God, that's one matter. The strongest argument this film makes is that Jesus, like Captain Ahab, Superman and Sherlock Holmes, is a creation of pure myth, fiction and really, really bad documentation. And it does it very well. So unless you are a born again Christian who has a Bible glued to your forehead, you might want to give this a look.
