She often retreats to the river to take care of stray animals who she has rescued from time to time. Dinky is having a horrible time in school as the ultimate outcast who sits alone in the cafeteria while popular kids throw food at her. Feeling so alien and alone Dinky retreats inside and wishes someone could just understand her.
