Buy This Item Beavis & Butthead: Final Judgement by Music Television (MTV)  Available from Amazon  $9.98  on 11-28-2008     Die-hard <I>Beavis and Butt-head</I> fans will probably enjoy this incidental "best of" compilation, which contains seven segments pulled from MTV, aggregated into a 50-minute presentation. But creator Mike Judge's two nerdy, sexually piqued high school delinquents pale in the shadow of that other animated wonder, <I>South Park</I>. In fact, Beavis and Butt-head seem a little passé in light of the success of rival network Comedy Central and its wunderkind, junior high school-based series created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone of <I>BASEketball</I> fame. Consequently, the segments rely on the same tired jokes again and again ("heh-heh, heh-heh, he said 'come'") and by the time Beavis chows down on too much sugar and his alter-ego, Cornholio, appears in episode six, we're struggling with the woeful repetition and limitations of the boys' routine. The best is saved for first because the segment entitled "No Laughing" is at least somewhat original in spirit. It may be that we haven't yet been dumbed down by the one-trick pony parade. As for the rest, well, things progress from okay to bad and even Cornholio, searching for "TP for my bung-hole" can't bring things up to speed. I have this tape but I mostly forgot what episodes were on here I haven't watched it in a long time. The final judgement of beavis was one of my favorites where he experiences death and meet's up with saint peter who reads his entire book of his life and nothing good comes from his life. He reads how he and butt-head passed out chocolate laxitives in his kindergarden class and masterbates and again with bottle of hand lotion LOL! the only thing I wish they had was the music videos. I'm one of those MTV haters who can't stand the modern brodcasting of MTV. MTV is nothing without beavis and butt-head and it was their fault mike judge cancelled them screw MTV.
